Yes, I am one of those people that still has a landline home phone This Panasonic cordless phone is a replacement for a previous Panasonic cordless phone set that would no longer hold a charge. But it was older than 10 years old so I got my monies worth out of it. So far just as happy with this one. Easy to set up. Worked after 3 hours of charging. Answering machine works perfectly. Has a nice ring. Haven't used most of the features so cannot comment on those. Happy with the purchase.
